Adaptive under-actuated control for capacitive micro-machined ultrasonic transducer based on an accurate nonlinear modeling

A capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducer (CMUT) due to many benefits is being considered as an imaging and therapeutic technology recently. The critical challenge stabilize the system beyond pull-in voltage considering imposed perturbations. CMUT system, on other hand, has a low range of movement it intrinsically unstable, which can result in phenomenon. Consequently, order use systems variety medical applications that require high tuning ratio, closed-loop control technique been designed for these aims at increasing maximum capacitance enhancing tunability well. In this study, using control, resistance micro-plate against phenomenon examined. Also, description more accurate nonlinear modeling presence under-actuated sliding model strategy with finite convergence time. Besides, adaptive protocols unknown upper bounds have compensate effects uncertainty, unmodeled dynamics external disturbances. performance controller terms improving output pressure, stabilizing its robustness perturbations investigated. Finally, numerical simulations are presented verify usefulness applicability proposed strategy.
